Mobile ticketing service
Flybe is Europe’s largest regional airline. They approached us with a brief to design and build a travel companion app for all who fly with Flybe as part of a business transformation programme, centered on a mobile first customer experience. As their chosen design and engineering partner our brief was constructed of several objectives that were focused on building usefulness and utility into the Flybe digital experience.
Firstly we needed to enable customers to book a flight on the go quickly and easily. By making this process easier we’ll enable a great conversion to purchase for on the go customers.
Some of the key functionality includes making a booking, managing your booking by adding hold luggage or changing seats, checking in and retrieving a mobile boarding pass. As well as a push notification strategy and a dynamic dashboard.
Further to this, we wanted to utilise the passenger data we gathered to create a truly personalised and useful experience. We gathered research regarding the users needs and wants at different parts of their airline experience and plotted these to understand what information we could push to them via notifications that would help them during their journey.
All of which is delivered across iOS, Android and Windows. Now available on the app store.
